Icebox

Icebox journal is a new and philosophically themed literary zine. I am pleased to have a batch in their inaugural issue. Well worth submitting to, or reading when it comes. One by me that is about my fiancée is due there, a poem that also has blatant Clash references and rambles on disjointedly about Sartre.

Very good of her. The book is available as paper book at this link or totally free as a pdf here at this link. The review is at both links. Obviously it's nicer if you buy it, but get it for free if you prefer that.

New press release

More important than any election is the fact that epic rites press have a new press release for laughing at funerals which is soon due for a new printing. The blog at epic rites is linked here and the pdf itself with my perverse introduction to the book can be downloaded direct here.

A huge thanks to Wolfgang Carstens for his indefatigable work putting this together so well and promoting in a way that should make other publishers ashamed of their laziness.

Apologies to the few philosophers, and to Bodhidharma, all of whose corpses I violated in the text itself.

laughing at funerals

laughing at funerals is at SPD as well as at amazon. SPD is better quite frankly, not being a soulless multinational. I think it's best for people in the UK or Europe to buy direct from the bookstore at epic rites press however since both SPD and Amazon take unconscionable sums in postage.

Thursday, February 9, 2012
